Tsai Ing-wen announces resignation as DPP chair

TAIPEI, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Tsai Ing-wen announced her resignation as the chair of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) late Saturday, to take responsibility for the party's performance in Taiwan's local elections.
