Cross-Strait reporters explore Henan's development

Editor's Note: Recently, over twenty media teams from Chinese mainland and Taiwan visited Henan, exploring cities like Zhengzhou, Kaifeng, Xinxiang and Xuchang to witness local advancements in technology, industry and culture. Keyword 1: Innovation-driven

The Zhongyuan Science and Technology City, as well as the Central Plains Medical Sciences City, symbolize innovation in Henan. For these reporters from Taiwan, such projects have reshaped their traditional perceptions of Henan as an agricultural province.

Heavy industry has also seen significant development. "Henan's industrial advancements, especially the high-end cranes at Weihua Group in Changyuan, are impressive and critical for both transportation and national projects in military and aerospace," noted Wang Yu-Ching, a blogger from Taiwan.
