The 2024 Cross-Strait Modern Agricultural Fair &15th Cross-Strait Flower Expo kicked off on Friday in Zhangzhou city, Fujian province.
The event aims to showcase the achievements of agricultural cooperation between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, promote high-quality and distinctive agricultural products from both sides and bridge connections within the agricultural and fishery sectors across the Strait. It is expected to promote economic, cultural and technological exchanges and enhance people-to-people connectivity.
The event covers an exhibition area of 122,000 square meters and features five indoor exhibition halls and four outdoor theme zones. With online and offline platforms, over 700 enterprises from more than 20 provinces across the country participated in the event. Thousands of products spanning agriculture, forestry, fishery, fruits, vegetables, tea, horticulture, cultural and creative products and specialty foods were presented.
