Qiantang Tides Unite the Strait: 2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week Opens in Hangzhou

The 2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week officially opened in Hangzhou.
HANGZHOU, May 26 (Taiwan.cn) — With surging Qiantang tides linking both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the 2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week officially opened in Hangzhou on the morning of May 26 under the theme of "Bolstering Integrated Innovation, Jointly Painting a Vibrant Blueprint." Over 600 participants, including cross-Strait business leaders, young Taiwanese representatives, and officials from provincial government departments, attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, 12 key Taiwan-invested projects were signed collectively. The Zhejiang Development Alliance for High-tech Taiwan-invested Enterprises and Listed Taiwan-invested Enterprises was inaugurated simultaneously. The 2026 Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was launched on site, and the 2026 "Outstanding Chinese Streamers" Cross-Strait Youth Live-stream E-commerce Entrepreneurship Exchange Conference was unveiled. Experts delivered keynote speeches at the event.
2026 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week features rich and wide-ranging activities. The Hangzhou main venue will host the Cross-Strait (Hangzhou) Artificial Intelligence Integration and Development Matching Conference and the Zhejiang-Taiwan High-quality Cultural and Tourism Development Exchange Forum. Participants will later visit Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, and other cities for inspections and exchanges to deepen cross-Strait cooperation across various sectors.
From the signing of key projects and the inauguration of innovation platforms, to youth entrepreneurship competitions and live-stream e-commerce exchanges, every activity embodies wisdom and sincerity for integrated development. Looking ahead, Zhejiang will continue to embrace Taiwan compatriots with an open and inclusive attitude and pragmatic, innovative measures, sharing development opportunities and jointly building a promising future. The surging Qiantang tides will witness more wonderful chapters of cross-Strait solidarity and mutually beneficial win-win cooperation.
