Taiwan Business Representatives Explore Cooperation Zone Event Held in Shaoxing

May 29 (Taiwan.cn) – An event themed "Connecting Cross-Strait Industries, Empowering a Digital Future" was held in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province on May 27, gathering over 180 participants including representatives of Taiwan enterprises and industry experts in cross-strait digital industries.

During the event, representatives from Shaoxing Municipal Industry Investment Group introduced the city's investment environment and tailored service policies for Taiwan-invested enterprises in detail.

A series of supporting activities were launched on the sidelines, including special industry docking sessions for cross-strait intelligent manufacturing and cross-strait financial services, as well as field visits to projects of the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Digital Industry Cooperation Zone and local cultural landmarks in Shaoxing.

Officially approved in 2023, the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Digital Industry Cooperation Zone features a "one zone, two parks" layout, comprising the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Advanced Digital Manufacturing Park and the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Airport Economy Park for the Digital Industry. It is committed to undertaking high-quality cross-strait digital economy cooperation projects and pooling innovative and entrepreneurial talents from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Since its inauguration, the cooperation zone has attracted 35 high-quality Taiwan-invested projects with a total investment of 64 billion yuan, among which 19 projects have been successfully put into operation.
