Jiangyan District, Taizhou City Launches Legal Publicity Campaign for Taiwan-funded Enterprises
June 4 (Taiwan.cn)—Taking the upcoming official implementation of the Ecological Environment Code of the People's Republic of China as an opportunity, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangyan District, Taizhou City, jointly with the District Bureau of Justice and the District Bureau of Ecology and Environment, recently launched a special campaign themed "Codex Safeguards Taiwan-funded Enterprises, Jointly Boosts Development". The initiative aims to enhance the environmental legal awareness and management capabilities of Taiwan-funded enterprises, providing professional legal services to support their green and high-quality development.
At the event, a representative from the law enforcement division of the Jiangyan District Bureau of Ecology and Environment delivered a specialized lecture on the Ecological Environment Code. Focusing on key environmental challenges and pain points in the production and operation of Taiwan-funded enterprises, the lecture systematically explained the code's core provisions, regulatory requirements, legal liabilities, and practical implementation guidelines. This helped participating enterprises accurately grasp the latest ecological and environmental legal standards, further strengthening their compliance foundation for green production and operations.
Taiwan business representatives raised practical questions regarding environmental risk prevention and the implementation of work-related injury insurance benefits. Professional lawyers from Jiangsu Chen Jiqiang Law Firm and Jiangsu Jintai Law Firm provided on-site consultations, analyzing each issue in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Their efforts helped enterprises clarify compliance strategies and resolve operational difficulties.
