The targeted initiative enabled a Taiwan resident living in Luohe to promptly replace his lost residence permit, earning high praise for its considerate and efficient government services.
The Taiwan Resident Residence Permit serves as an essential legal document that allows Taiwan compatriots to access various public services and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests across the Chinese mainland. He subsequently submitted an application for permit replacement to the relevant authorities.
Upon receiving his request, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yancheng District immediately verified his personal information and provided detailed guidance on relevant policies, application procedures and required documents to fully clarify his needs. Taking the lead, the office coordinated with local public security household registration departments to establish an efficient collaborative mechanism and open a dedicated green channel for the Taiwan resident.
Strictly following official regulations, public security officers streamlined approval procedures and offered full-process assistance and guidance. The entire application process was completed efficiently, allowing Zeng Yunxi to obtain his new residence permit in a short time.
"The service is incredibly efficient and thoughtful, solving my urgent problem completely." said Zeng Yunxi, speaking highly of the district’s tailored services for Taiwan compatriots.
This expedited permit replacement service epitomizes Yancheng District’s efforts to implement preferential policies for Taiwan compatriots and optimize cross-Strait public services. Going forward, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yancheng District will further strengthen cross-departmental collaboration. It will conduct regular surveys to identify the difficulties and needs of Taiwan compatriots and enterprises, continuously upgrade convenient and beneficial services, and improve the quality and efficiency of services for Taiwan residents.
By delivering heartfelt, people-oriented services, the office aims to deepen friendship between compatriots from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and bolster in-depth cross-Strait integrated development. (Jointly reported by Taiwan.cn and the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yancheng)
