The 2nd Cross-Strait Coffee Culture Exchange Event Opened in Baoshan, Yunnan

June 12(Taiwan.cn)—The 2nd Cross-Strait Coffee Culture Exchange Event kicked off in Baoshan, Yunnan Province, on June 10. Nearly 200 people including coffee industry experts, practitioners and Taiwan youth representatives from both sides of the Strait attended the opening ceremony.

The first co-created coffee product by Yunnan and Taiwan made its official debut at the opening ceremony. With the flavor fusion of Arabica coffee originate from Baoshan, Yunnan and Alishan, Taiwan, and the packaging design showcasing natural scenery of two coffee-growing areas, the collaborative coffee product symbolizes the inseparable blood bond across the Taiwan Strait.    

Coffee industry experts from both sides of the Strait delivered speeches on industry layout, technique innovation and brand incubation, building consensus for cross-Strait cooperation in the coffee industry.  

During the event, attendees share diverse opportunities to profoundly learn about the development achievements of coffee industry in Baoshan, which is hailed as one of China’s core areas for premium coffee cultivation. 

This event aims to further strengthen the pragmatic cooperation between two sides of the Strait in agriculture, culture and tourism, youth innovative entrepreneurship and alike.
