14th Yunnan-Taiwan Fair Kicks Off in Kunming

July 10(Taiwan.cn)—The 14th Yunnan-Taiwan Fair opened in Kunming on July 8，under the theme "Seizing New Opportunities Brought by RCEP to Forge a New Chapter of Integrated Yunnan-Taiwan Development." Distinguished guests and representatives from various sectors across the Taiwan Strait convened to deliberate on deepening industrial integration and charting a new blueprint for Yunnan-Taiwan cooperation.

With a focus on the core agenda of integrated industrial development, this year's fair was meticulously organized under a "Five Initiatives" framework. During the opening ceremony, the Yunnan-Taiwan Coffee Enterprise Alliance was officially inaugurated. By leveraging the complementary strengths of the coffee industries in both regions, the alliance will pool industrial resources to deliver coffee that embodies the combined expertise from both sides of the Strait to global markets.

Following the opening ceremony, delegates will travel to Baoshan City, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture, and other regions for three thematic industrial matchmaking events focusing on green energy and advanced manufacturing, characteristic plateau agriculture, and the full coffee industry chain. These exchanges will sow the seeds of integrated Yunnan-Taiwan development across Yunnan's red-soil plateau, fostering robust and flourishing collaborative growth.
