The 10th Cross-Strait College Students Exchange Program on Bronze Sculpture Art Successfully Held in Tongling

　　Through diverse site visits and immersive cultural activities, the event fostered emotional resonance and mutual understanding among participants. The teachers and students from Taiwan visited local universities, provincial-level cross-Strait exchange bases, leading bronze industry enterprises, cultural and media institutions, as well as scenic and historic sites. Thematic activities included hands-on bronze sculpting workshops, cross-Strait university exchange sessions, and sharing forums on youth employment and entrepreneurship. Through face-to-face dialogues and practical experiences, participants gained a deeper appreciation of traditional Chinese culture and the craftsmanship of bronze art, while also obtaining firsthand insights into the mainland’s rich heritage, natural beauty, and socioeconomic progress.

　　The students from Taiwan spoke highly of their rewarding experience in Tongling. They noted that what they saw and experienced revealed a dynamic and authentic mainland that differed greatly from their previous impressions. They also felt the warmth and hospitality of local residents and the vibrant spirit of young people on the mainland.
