Oct 13(Taiwan.cn)—On October 10, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yuwangtai District, Kaifeng City, held an event to bring Taiwan-related publicity and education into enterprises. Representatives of local entrepreneurs gathered to study policies related to Taiwan affairs, discuss hot policy topics and ideas for industrial and commercial development, talk about cross-Strait integrated development, and express their patriotism and devotion to their home and country.
During the event, the person in charge of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Yuwangtai District led participants in studying the overall strategy of the Communist Party of China (CPC) for resolving the Taiwan question in the new era. Drawing on the historical origins, cultural ties, and current developments across the Taiwan Strait, the official elaborated on the profound blood bond and shared destiny between compatriots on both sides of the Strait. The official also expounded on the core essence and spiritual connotations of the white paper The Taiwan Question and China’s Reunification in the New Era. The activity guided participants to accurately grasp the overall trend of cross-Strait relations and fully understand the historical and legal basis for Taiwan being an inalienable part of China’s territory. It also encouraged local entrepreneurs to actively explore practical ways to promote the message that “both sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family” in economic and trade exchanges and interactions, contributing to the deepening of cross-Strait integrated development.
Representatives of enterprises at the event said that the activity served as a systematic study of policies and theories, a vivid lesson in patriotism and love for the homeland, and a heart-to-heart exchange that built consensus. Going forward, enterprises will draw on their actual operations and industrial strengths to actively identify entry points and areas of focus for linking their sectors with cross-Strait exchanges. They will proactively act as advocates and liaisons for cross-Strait exchanges, carry forward the kinship rooted in the shared origins of people across the Strait in daily business operations and external interactions, and build stronger momentum for cross-Strait integrated development.
