SHENYANG -- At least 10 people were injured after an explosion ripped through a residential building on Friday morning in northeast China's Liaoning Province, said local authorities.
Part of the building collapsed after the blast occurred at around 5 a.m. at Lingdong community in Longgang District, Huludao City.
The authorities said it was a suspected liquified gas explosion.
The injured have been hospitalized. Rescue work is underway.
A similar residential building explosion in Huludao City on May 31 left two dead and another 11 injured.
