BEIJING -- Governor of Fujian Province Su Shulin will visit Taiwan in late March, a government spokeswoman said Wednesday.
Su and his delegation will meet with local farmers, fishermen and young entrepreneurs to build understanding between mainland and Taiwanese people and promote trade between Fujian and Taiwan, spokeswoman Fan Liqing of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office said at a press conference.
Su will also tour tea leaf farms in Taiwan, Fan said.
Fan also mentioned the annual Strait Forum, which she said will be held on both the mainland and Taiwan this year.
