BEIJING -- The first cross-Strait peace forum is being held in Shanghai. Around 120 experts are participating in the two-day event which is an important platform for non-official political dialogue between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.
The agenda includes a number of sensitive cross-Strait issues including political relations, the one-China framework, and military security.
The forum is organized by the mainland-based National Society of Taiwan Studies and Taiwan?s 21st Century Foundation.
