ANKARA -- Seven people who were wounded in clashes between rebels in northern Syriahave been taken under treatment in Turkey, the state-run Anatalian news agency reported on Wednesday.

A total of 38 were killed and 15 others were wounded in a suicide car bomb attack late Tuesday by Islamic State (IS) militants who targeted at the Damascus Front units in northern Aleppo of Syria, according to the report.

Seven people were brought to the southern Oncupinar border crossing of Turkey and were taken under treatment at a state hospital of southern Kilis province and later four heavily injured of the seven were taken to a state hospital of southern Gaziantep province.

Turkey has become a transit route into Syria for thousands of foreigners who want to join the ranks of radical groups such as the IS.

Turkey, once an ally of Assad, is now the fierce opponent of the Syrian government, and has been supporting the oppositions trying to topple him since 2011.
