GAZA -- Israeli war jets struck militants' targets with air-to-ground missiles early on Thursday in the Gaza Strip, where huge explosions heard in the western part of the coastal enclave, according to eyewitnesses and security officials.
The airstrikes were made in a response to earlier rockets' firing from Gaza into Israel.
