HONG KONG -- Taiwan share prices closed 1.22 percent lower on Tuesday with the weighted index falling 94.80 points to close at 7,663.23, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
The local bourse fluctuated between 7,792.27 and 7,663.23 during the day's trading. Turnover totaled 92.88 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 3.08 billion U.S. dollars).
