TAIPEI -- The number of employees who were diagnosed with measles in a duty-free shop in Taipei rose to 10 with three new cases being reported by Taiwan's disease control authority late on Thursday.
The newly reported cases include a 31-year-old woman and two men aged 27 and 28.
Altogether 681 of the 1,930 people known to have come into contact with the patients have got vaccinated, according to the disease control agency.
The patients had been to a subway station, Taipei railway station and a cinema from May 21 to 25. The agency urged citizens who had visited these places to seek medical advice as soon as possible if they develop measles symptoms of cough, fever and rashes on the skin.
