HONG KONG -- Taiwan's share prices closed lower Monday with the weighted index down 42.45 points, or 0.45 percent, to close at 9,259.48, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
Turnover totaled 74.57 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 2.41 billion U.S. dollars).
